We have put in place a range of measures to help prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Please do not come to class if you have any of the main symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19):
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal
To protect others, do not go to places like a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital if you have any of these symptoms. Get a test to check if you have coronavirus and stay at home until you get your result.
‘NHS Self assessment’
Please use our hand sanitiser each time you enter and leave any of our studios. The hand sanitiser can be found on the wall at the entrance to the studio.
Please wear a mask at all times in the studio unless you have an exemption.
As part of our studio working practice learning, all our classes have up to 30 minutes at the end of the session dedicated to studio cleandown after practice.
This is not new in any practical pottery class but we are especially emphasising washing, cleaning and spraying all surfaces including the undersides of wheels and wheel legs.
Your tutor will guide you in this at the first session of your class.
